Connect2AdultCare Wins Outstanding Partner Award at the Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care (WAGS) Awards
Dec 3 2025
Connect2AdultCare, part of Connect2Care and the wider HIT Training Ltd Group, is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Outstanding Partner Award at this year’s Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care (WAGS) Awards, held in London.
The WAGS Awards celebrate those who are driving excellence, innovation and meaningful change across the sector. The event recognises accomplishments at all levels of leadership and across the whole of social care, including services for older people, people with learning disabilities and/or autism, and children, young people and families.
Connect2AdultCare was recognised for delivering practical, impactful training that helps adult care providers grow confident teams and raise care standards. Judges praised the organisation’s flexible approach to apprenticeships and professional development, noting its commitment to improving outcomes and addressing the real needs of frontline care services.
Connect2AdultCare was also recognised for its LeaderHERship offer — a suite of empowering training courses and apprenticeships designed to address the challenges unique to female leaders, helping women across health and social care build confidence, develop their leadership capability and progress in their careers. The leadHERship pathway reflects the WAGS mission of celebrating women who are achieving greatness and inspiring others throughout the sector.
Kirsty Simmonds, National Sector Lead for Adult Care at Connect2AdultCare, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to receive the Outstanding Partner Award at the WAGS Awards. This recognition is a testament to the passion, expertise and unwavering commitment of our Connect2AdultCare team. Our focus is always on providing training that makes a real difference – supporting care professionals to feel confident, capable and empowered. Being recognised by an event that celebrates women achieving greatness in social care makes this award especially meaningful.”
