Our Story
How we got here
Origins and Inspiration
Connect2Care was launched in 2008 after requests from care providers who had experienced the quality of training delivered by HIT Training (the UK’s leading hospitality training provider). Care home managers who worked with HIT’s chefs admired their passion, dedication, and high standards, and asked if we could provide the same level of training for their care staff.
Growth and Vision
Two team members with strong care backgrounds stepped forward with a plan and Connect2Care was created. Built on the same principle as HIT, recruiting people from the sector they love and giving them the skills to train – Connect2Care quickly grew into one of the country’s most trusted care training providers.
Expansion and Innovation
In 2017, the offer expanded into early years, responding to growing demand for professional training that raised standards for the youngest in society. By 2022, we became the first and only provider to deliver apprenticeships for the funeral sector, following requests from national employers who wanted the same quality and trusted approach we had built in care and early years.
