About this course
This in-depth course provides learners with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions and be able to signpost an individual towards professional mental health help.
This interactive online course provides learners with an understanding of common mental health conditions, the tools to start a positive conversation about mental health concerns and reducing the stigma attached to mental health in the workplace.
Suitable for employees of all levels, the course content includes an in-depth look at what First Aid for Mental Health is.
Learners will study the impact of common mental health conditions and how to recognise symptoms, learn to provide mental health advice and start a conversation about mental health illness. They’ll also be introduced to the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan, look at ways to implement a positive mental health culture within the workplace, and delve into the effects of drugs and alcohol on mental wellbeing.
The interactive online workshop is delivered by qualified tutors, each with a background of working within the mental health industry. All learning resources are included.
The assessment for this course will be completed remotely.
