This 5 hour course is aimed at providing delegates with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions and the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost the person towards professional help.
This course is suitable for everyone within a workplace as it provides delegates with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions as well as the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost a person towards professional help.
Over the level 1, 2 and 3 courses in First Aid for Mental Health, there are 3 sessions, level 1 learners would attend the first session only, level 2 learners would attend the first 2 sessions and level 3 learners would attend all three sessions.
This will be delivered over 5 hours using a virtual classroom environment. Candidates will then be required to spend up to one hour preparing for their assessment as part of the course teaching time.
