All our apprenticeship standards now contain the following live and online training courses as optional extras within their learning journey.
As a nation, we’ve had to adapt our general cleaning procedures. But maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control methods is all the more essential in settings with multiple high-touch areas and a large volume of visitors.
The Principles of Infection Control and Safe Working course will give your employees the knowledge to confidently follow infection prevention and control principles within the workplace, including how to keep themselves, the working environment and service users safe.
Due to the impact of the Coronavirus, around half of the population (49%) had felt anxious or worried in the previous two weeks in late July 2020. This staggering figure is a reminder that we all need to take better care of our own and others’ mental health, now and always.
The Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health course will provide learners with the knowledge to identify mental health conditions, the skills to start a conversation about mental health and be able to signpost a person towards professional help if needed.
It’s safe to say that our workforces have been under considerable strain since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the UK. With our workforce being increasingly stretched and under pressure, there’s a real concern around the resilience and support available to our employees.
This course provides advice and guidance on signs, symptoms, signposting and interventions for anxiety and burnout to enable an effective, resilient workforce. Learners will improve their understanding of anxiety and burnout and identify ways they can reduce their anxiety and prevent burnout.
We live and work in unprecedented times. Sadly the Coronavirus pandemic means we’re all dealing with a heightened level of change and personal loss. When coming to terms with bereavement, particularly during such difficult times, it’s normal to experience a range of physical and emotional feelings at different stages.
This course looks at understanding the cycle of grief and bereavement, identifying how the cycle of grief impacts us at different stages, and recognising coping strategies and support mechanisms for dealing with loss and bereavement.
For more information on these courses, contact our friendly team between 8:30 am 5:30 pm, seven days a week, via 0800 954 2803 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively, you can get in touch with your local C2C contact direct.
