We are thrilled to announce the winners of the C2C Heroes Awards – and would like to congratulate each and every one on their amazing success!

Judges were bowled over by the standard of this year’s entries with stories ranging from apprentices who have used their new skills to progress their careers to inspirational accounts of employers who go above and beyond to help their learners.

Apprenticeships benefiting businesses

As a result of their apprenticeships, every winner was able to demonstrate huge benefits to their business including taking a lead in individual care plans, stepping up to senior manager positions and initiating improved inclusivity activities in the workplace.

The names of the winners and their fantastic stories were revealed during National Apprenticeship Week to highlight the important role that apprenticeships play within the adult care, funeral and early years sectors.

“While we know the incredible life-changing impact of apprenticeships on individuals of all ages and walks of life, we are always proud to take this opportunity to further celebrate the fantastic work of our apprentices and their employers in our C2C Heroes Awards,” says Connect2Care Managing Director Jill Whittaker.

“Once again, despite the current labor market challenges these sectors face, we have not been disappointed by the immense talent we have witnessed. We would like to congratulate every one of our winners on their huge success.”

The C2C Heroes Awards aims to recognise the amazing work of both apprentices and apprenticeship employers across the country and celebrate the individual drive and development of apprentices to become future leaders.

We will be highlighting individual stories of all our winners over coming weeks – watch this space – and we will announce our overall apprentice and employer of the year winners on Wednesday 31st May.
