Keep educating whilst in lockdown with Connect2Care
At Connect2Care, we understand that the COVID-19 outbreak will have had a huge impact on your day-to-day operations. We’re continuing to work hard to support you and your apprentices through these challenging times for our industry.
As you’ll have seen in our previous update, we’ve adapted our training delivery model to continue educating your apprentices and minimise the disruption to their learning as much as possible.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve received fantastic feedback from both clients and learners about our new interactive online workshops and one-to-one online learning.
Supporting your talent
We understand that many of our employer partners in the adult care sector are being placed under additional strain and looking for new talent to join their teams. To support you to do this, our apprenticeship recruitment teams are still fully active and here to help. Please contact your local account manager or business consultant, alternatively you can email email@example.com for more information.
In some cases where our apprentices have been furloughed, employers have found that by continuing their employees’ learning, their workforces are increasingly engaged and passionate about returning to work as soon as they can.
We’ve kept our doors open to support you to do just that. If you’d like to enquire about enrolling staff onto apprenticeships or short online courses, again contact your local account manager or business consultant, alternatively you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
New courses for 2020!
Adult social care
This apprenticeship focuses on giving leaders the skills and knowledge to guide and inspire teams to make a positive difference to their service users’ lives. They will be a coach and mentor of others and will have a role in assessing performance and quality of care delivery.
This apprenticeship is aimed at those in a leadership role, whether with other care workers and networks, or in leading the service itself. Skills and knowledge will focus around business development, financial control, organisational resilience and continuity as well as for managing risk, and leading on organisational change.
Develop your team members to work and interact directly with children on a day-to-day basis, supporting the planning and delivery of activities, purposeful play opportunities and educational programmes within the ethos of the setting.
To further support you during these unprecedented times, we’ve been developing a suite of e-guides to help with certain areas of concern in the care industry. These guides are completely free to download with new guides being launched regularly.
- Health and social care update and guidance during COVID-19 - A comprehensive reference guide containing the latest Government advice and changes relating to the Coronavirus outbreak which impacts the care sector.
- Providing wellbeing support during the COVID-19 outbreak - To help you and your team navigate through these difficult times, we’ve produced a short guide to aid you with supporting your employees’ wellbeing.
