This 12-month Apprenticeship consists of: 

  • BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles
  • NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Front of House Reception
  • Functional Skills Maths (Level 1) 
  • Functional Skills English (Level 1)
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities
  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

This is the hospitality industry’s recognised professional qualification for staff involved in front office and reception activities

for any residential outlet including hotels, hostels, guest houses and even bed and breakfasts! 

This apprenticeship allows you to train while you work, and there are NVQ units to match your normal job role. 

This qualification is suitable for those already in employment as well as those wishing to enter the hospitality industry.

Entry requirements

To start an apprenticeship with Connect2Care you have to be aged 16 years or over and must be working for at least 30 hours a week. You also need to be a resident in England and not taking part in full-time education.
