About this course
The Facilities Services Operative apprenticeship is suitable for those providing support to customers and facilities management departments.
This includes soft facilities management services such as cleaning, catering, front of house logistics, post room services and portering.
Whether your facilities services team members are working in an office or on-site in a residential care home, hospital, or early years setting, they need the versatility to work well with colleagues in other departments and collaborate with technical experts. This is an outward-facing role where liaison with customers is a key element.
This apprenticeship will give your employees knowledge and skills covering health and safety and other legislation, organisational policies and procedures, facilities management-related risks, hazards and threats to people, property and premises.
We also look at customer service and the principles of sustainability and continuous improvement, as well as the maintenance of soft and hard FM services, and delivery of FM projects of varying sizes.
This apprenticeship is delivered by Connect2Care’s sister company, HIT Training – specialists in management, hospitality and chef apprenticeships.
