About this course
The Facilities Management Supervisor apprenticeship prepares an individual for leading a facilities management service, or a group of services, within the multidisciplinary-built environment, and to supervise others.
Effective Facilities Management contributes to the delivery of strategic and operational objectives, while on a day-to-day level it provides a safe and efficient working environment, both of which are essential to your business performance.
Through this apprenticeship your Facilities Manager will hone their skills to provide and develop a range of services including property strategy, space management, communications infrastructure, building maintenance, administration and contract management. They’ll study the supervision and development of others, customer service skills, proactive problem-solving and the contractual requirements between their employer and the client/customer in order to achieve service targets. They’ll also explore health and safety, risk assessment, budgeting and procurement.
Progression from this apprenticeship could be into a wide range of senior roles such as Facilities Manager, Premises Manager, Energy Services Manager or Contract Manager.
This apprenticeship is delivered by Connect2Care’s sister company, HIT Training – specialists in management, hospitality and chef apprenticeships.
